I am a reserved, inquisitive, pensive, observant, sensitive, loyal and trustworthy person. I am well-educated and work part-time in healthcare research. I tend to be easy-going in my orientation to life. I value good companionship and loyal friendship very highly and am seeking a long-term relationship with an always-single or widowed, honest, down-to-earth, Christian gentleman capable of a meaningful relationship based on mutual respect, trust, shared social and moral values and enduring love. Although I don't believe in imposing my beliefs on others, my religious faith, spiritual growth and well-being are important priorities in my life. I tend to be conservative in my political and religious views and am not a sports enthusiast, although I do enjoy watching Olympic figure skating competitions and am tolerant of other's enthusiasm for sports. My interests are varied and include (but are not limited to) healthcare research, boating/cruises/ferry rides, computers, surfing the net, national news and politics, gardening, my little dog, music, art, theater/shows/movies, reading, dining out, trips to the beach, walking and/or bicycling on the boardwalk/bike trails. I especially like being near the water - be it an ocean, bay, lake, river, creek or stream.

I seek an honest, intelligent (but not heady), always-single or widowed Christian gentleman between the ages of 65 - 75 for a meaningful, long-term relationship, possibly leading to marriage.
